2026 After School Sewing (Jan-May) - Mondays

One of our longest running classes! Workshop for the younger sewers. Kids ages 7-11 learn everything from machine sewing basics to advanced techniques. Every creation is the child’s own vision. Beginners and non-beginners welcome, projects vary from session to session. This class fills up, so please sign up early.

The classes will continue to have a max. of 6 students. We continue to follow safety guidelines, including HEPA air filtration.

All tools needed are included in the class fee. MATERIALS are NOT included, a list will be sent out prior to the beginning of class.

Classes are held at Common Threads, 2707 Spruce Street, Boulder 80302, 4pm-6pm. The store is closed on Mondays, but the front door will be open at the beginning and end of class.

Session 1: January 12 - March 2 (no classes on 1/19 and 2/16) 

Session 2: March 9 - April 20 (no classes on 3/16)

Session 3: April 27 - May 18 (short session)

We follow the BVSD calendar for school days off and guidelines for severe weather closures. If we have to cancel class due to weather, we will make every effort to offer a makeup class.
